Obstetrician & Gynecologist William N. Landry, III, MD, an expert in women’s healthcare, provides compassionate, individualized obstetrics and gynecology care to women throughout St. Tammany Parish and Covington, Louisiana. He also treats female conditions using hormone replacement therapy, cryoablation therapy and minimally invasive surgical techniques. With years of experience, Dr. Landry demonstrates professionalism at every level. Offering a full range of obstetrics and gynecology services from your initial exam, to prenatal care and childbirth, and throughout menopause and beyond, our goal is to offer patient-centered medical care based on mutual trust and communication.

In addition to offering a full range of obstetrics and gynecology services, board certified physician Dr. Landry is trained in minimally invasive gynecologic procedures, such as da Vinci® Surgery. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. William N. Landry, III is a graduate of Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Drawn to the Northshore for its central location and culture, Dr. Landry started his Covington practice in 1988. He has served as Vice-Chairman of the Board at Lakeview Hospital for 17 years, Vice-Chairman at Fairway Hospital for 18 years, and as a board member of the Tiger Athletic Foundation for over a decade.

Dr. Landry continues his education through research, seminars and training to remain informed about medical advancements. After actively listening to his patients’ concerns, Dr. Landry recommends the best plan of treatment, shares vital information and walks along with them throughout their course of treatment.

What are your regular office hours?

Our regular business hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and we are closed on Fridays. Appointments can be made by calling our office during normal business hours at (985) 892-1111.

What should I do if I′m ill?

If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 911 or head to the nearest emergency room. For all other requests, an on-call physician is available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Please call our office at (985) 892-1111 and the answering service will contact the on-call physician. If you are feeling ill and require an immediate appointment, please call our office and let us know. We can usually work in ill patients that day or within 24-hours of being notified.

How do I get a refill on my prescription?

Prescriptions are renewed during normal office hours. Please have your pharmacy fax any refill requests to (985) 892-1116. In some instances, we may require the patient be seen in our office prior to medication renewal.

What is your billing & insurance policy?

All office visits are payable at the time of service. We accept cash, checks and most major credit cards and debit cards. Please contact our billing office should you have any financial questions or concerns.

We participate in most local and many national insurance plans; however, it is your responsibility to understand whether your insurance has limits on the doctors you can see, or the services you can receive.

If you provide complete and accurate information about your insurance, we will submit claims to your insurance carrier on your behalf and receive payments for services. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be responsible for co-payments, co-insurance or other deductible amounts.
