Dr. William N. Landry

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Dr. William N. Landry, III is a graduate of Jesuit High School and Louisiana State University School of Medicine. Drawn to the Northshore for its central location and family-oriented culture, Dr. Landry started his Covington, LA practice in 1988. He has served as Vice-Chairman of the Board at Lakeview Hospital for 17 years, Vice-Chairman at Fairway Hospital for 18 years, and as a board member of the Tiger Athletic Foundation for over a decade.

Dr. Landry continues his education through research, seminars and training to remain informed about medical advancements. After actively listening to his patients’ concerns, Dr. Landry recommends the best plan of treatment, shares vital information and walks along with them throughout their course of treatment.

The eyes might be the window to the soul, but shoes are the window to just about everything else. What you choose to put on your feet reflects your personality. Although Dr. Landry is typical in his devotion to LSU and Saints football, it’s his unusual fascination for unique footwear that gets him noticed. Dr. Landry confesses to owing over 100 pairs of retro sneakers and throwback designs. He’s even on a special email list that allows him to be a trend-setter—not that he wants to be obvious about looking cool and trendy first. He’s not above infusing a little personality into his daily uniform; his patients know the colorful sneakers peeking out from under his scrubs are covering the feet of a consummate professional.

Married in 2016 to Kelo, Dr. Landry and his wife have six adult sons: Christian, Rhett and Joshua Landry, Harry McKay, Zachary and Shane Clay. It’s no wonder Dr. Landry works with a team of women! When not working (yeah, right—babies come at all hours!), Dr. Landry likes spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors at his waterfront home.
